About Summerset Senior Solutions
Summerset Senior Solutions has been a local Cheyenne business since 2017. We specialize in supporting caregivers and aging adults with everyday tasks to reduce stress, promote independence, and provide peace of mind.
Our goal is to free up time for active seniors to spend with their grandkids, volunteer in their communities, or travel. We also aim to reduce the stress of the caregiver by taking items off their daily to-do list allowing them the opportunity to step out of the caregiver role and enjoy spending time as a family again.
Founder, Jamie Avent, is passionate about keeping aging adults active, healthy, and independent. Her background as a CNA and private home care provider are an ideal pairing for the launching of Summerset Senior Solutions.
While caring for seniors and their families, Jamie saw the toll that stress took on the caregiver trying to juggle family, career, and aging parents. They were overworked, overwhelmed, and out of balance.
She also saw how seniors worried that they were a burden to their families.
To help caregivers be able to take a step back and for aging adults to feel more in control and independent, Jamie created her services so they could have confidence in handing over all the tasks that were causing stress and overwhelm.
